A.S.Kahan: Aristocratic Liberalism
Alanan Brinkley:The End Reform

Alan S.Kahan: Aristocratic Liberaism

Victor Serge:witness to the German Revolution

Victor Serge:Witness to the German Revolution后更加强烈地感受到,

Alan S Kahaniberalism in 19th Century Europe。

Jean-Francois Drolet:American Neoconservatism,

The Prussian suffrage system, radically different from any suffrage law adopted in France or England, was arguably the most successful of the liberal suffrage laws of the nineteenth century.

Kahan Ibid pp.77

…… the February Revolution in France was unwelcome to French liberals, for whom the idea of a Republic remained anathema. Most French liberals never felt that the Second Republic was theirs.

Kahan Ibid. pp.78
This turned upside-down the whole liberal doctrine of political participation, which was based precisely on preventing people from entering the political waters until they could swim, that is, until they were no danger to society and some use to it.

Kahan Ibid. pp.137
Yet the Prussian National Liberals steadfastly refused to accept any important changes in  the Prussian suffrage down to 1906. They were unwilling to accept the transition  from noble politics to mass politics, and continued to speak the language of capacity in the old way when talking about the voting.

Kahan Ibid. pp148
Where liberalism remained dominant throughout Germany was in urban government……They did this with the aid of a suffrage which varied, but was in general limited to 25-50 percent of the adult male population, based on property qualifications.

Kahan Ibid. pp.149
Raffael Scheck:Alfred von Tirpitz and German Right Wing Politics

Martin Conway:Catholic Politics in Europe 1918-1945

Eric O. Hanson: The Catholic Church in World Politcs

Christian Smith: The Emergence of Liberation Theology

Multiculturalism: Examining the Politics of Recognition by Charles Taylor, Amy Gutmann, Kwame Anthony Appiah and Jürgen Habermas

Julie Connolly , Michael Leach and Lucas Walsh :Recognition in Politics: Theory, Policy and Practice

Gareth Stedman Jones: Language of Class, Studies in English Working Class 1832-1982

Helmut Gruber: Red Vienna, Experiment in Working Class Culture 1919-1934
Gay Seidman:Manufacturing Militance
